Artist Biography

Nat Connacher is a painter, photographer and designer.  In his own words, he is “…interested in liberating typography from its traditional function to explore the conflict between social and personal expectations.  My objective in painting bold, large, graphic and organic abstractions is to highlight the variety of human experiences, creating a visual expression of what I see and feel around me.”

Nat is president and creative director of Connacher Design where he combines his various artistic interests to develop visual dialogs between his clients and their audiences.  His areas of expertise are Corporate Identity, Branding and Visual Information Design for print and for the Internet.

Nat holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Yale University and a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.  A native of Canada, Nat resides with his family in Stamford, CT.
